About the conference

The 43rd annual meeting of the FHWA Midwest Regional Geotechnical Conference will be held on October 1 October 3, 2014 in Bloomington, Minnesota. 


The conference typically includes participation from Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Nebraska, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Kansas and Missouri, however, state employees from any State DOT may attend.


Topics to be presented include:

        Geophysical Surveys

        Large diameter piles / loadtests


        Asset Management

        Geotechnical Risk


Keynote Speakers include:

        Choon Park (Park Seismic)
