Duties: Ben is responsible for the day to day operations
of the Mn/ROAD site. His duties include supervision of research staff in Maplewood and at
the Mn/ROAD site who conduct pavement monitoring, forensics, maintenance/rehabilitation,
database structure, and the collection of electronic data on the Mn/ROAD test cells.
He also helps to provide direction to the related research work that is being done at
Mn/ROAD along with other work that is being contacted for or involves other partners in pavement research.
Expertise: Ben is experienced in the day to day monitoring of
research test cells and the data that is collected. His experience in research include working 7 years
as a consultant on the SHRP/LTPP program along with his 4+ years of experience conducting Mn/DOT
pavement research enables him to provide direction to the research currently being completed.
